GRATEFUL FOR SOMETHING NEW

It was great fun at MITS - Kamulu on Tuesday, 12 November.  Supporters of Larry and Hollye Conway provided funds to buy all the kids new mattresses, sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases and towels.  They were delivered on Sunday and Monday in the rain (we are grateful for recent rains, as it has been very dry).  The kids all lined up in the courtyard of the Learning Center, and we all gave thanks to God, for Larry and Hollye, and for our generous supporters in the USA.  Then some of our Team members gave out all the "goodies" to the kids.  The following pictures give you some idea of the excitement.  Even Jimmy, our favorite dog at the girls' center, got all excited when the girls came in with their mattresses and all the other items.  It doesn't take as much to make our kids happy as it does some kids in the world.  But I guess everyone enjoys getting something new.  These kids have seldom had new things in their lives.
