Greetings and a Happy New year to
you. We hope you are all well. We are doing well out at the farm except
that it has been difficult to go into town to get food and other
supplies due

to the riots and chaos in our capital city Nairobi. We request that you
pray for us and our country that we will have peace and that things
will get back to normal.
With all this happening, God has blessed us with a group of Aggies for Christ (from Texas A & M) who
are doing a day camp with our students basing thier theme from John
3:16. So far it has been real fun. Today we are doing the second part
of the lessons, and they started with a Texas cowboy "wanted poster" picture
taking. Attached is Scholastica, one of our students taking her
"wanted" picture. We are glad to have such fun especially since some
parts of our country are really bad.
Have a blessed day.
Our Sunday afternoon class has become one of the attractions and a wonderful learning

time
for our students. The seventh lesson was a big one for the students but
they did really well. Tabitha, Mary Muthoni, Fatuma and the new Mercy
worked extra hard to find ways to be kind to the boys. They all talked
of how they helped some boys who did not have money to buy lunch on an
outing they had organized for themselves with a few team members. Nancy
talked of how she wanted to "abuse" (note: this is verbal, usually means to insult) one of the boys who had wronged her
but then remembered the week's practise. She went and apologized and
reminded the boy of what the practice was that week---be a good wife or
husband for the future. Wahu got to talk to one of the boys whom she
said they hardly talk and the boy was amazed and happy. Attached is
Nancy sharing while others wait for their turn.
Sarah has asked me to be baptized already and the others are being
helped by team and the Aggies. Something else to be thankful about.
Love you, Mbuvi
