PROPERTY UPDATE FROM FRANCIS MBUVI ON 21 JANUARY 2008

Francis reports the installation of the new water tank and water system to provide irrigation to new fruit trees and to vegetable area.  The water system also provides water to the lots given to Team members for future homes.  













John Wambu thought everyone would want to know that there is plenty of water at the new plot and he wanted to show it to you!!!!  Bananas have been planted and we are hoping to plant the other trees next month.

















At Made in the Streets we have started a project to make our own concrete posts.  In the future we hope to interest some of the students in construction projects and teach them how to do concrete work such as making the posts.  The posts can be made for about $11 each and sell on the local market for about $18.  Two people working hard can easily make 48 posts in a day using 6 molds.  So it is a viable business.  This initial work for our own purposes will give us a clear indication of how much income some young men could have from a business.
