In our Sunday afternoon class on the 9th December, students learned how
Jesus is the cornerstone that builders rejected and turned out to be an
important stone. They also learned that we are to be Living stones in
his kingdom. During our activity they got to build a house using
playdoh and toothpick. I must say they
were really creative about it. Attached is a pic of Wahome and Alex Building their houses.
We hope every opportunity will lead to more growth and full
rehabilitation of the students. And we always thank God for you for
helping us model their lives.
It's my hope and prayer you are all well in the lord. December is always a very busy month for both the
team
and the students. Our first trip this month was to Gikomba open air
market where every student got to shop for something they wanted.
It's been a tradition in Kenya that during this month if you can,
then one should buy either clothes and shoes or one. Our students
love these outings and really know how to bargain. Some bought shoes,
others clothes and belts among other things. At the end of the day they
were all happy to have had the chance to shop. Pictured is Job Opeywa
prospecting a pair of shoes accompanied by James Mwangi.
Thank you for helping the students buy something new.
